According to president of America Donald Trump, The United state food and drugs Administration gives directive to release REMDESIVIR as a drugs for treatment of covid19 pendamic.
Base on the donald trump statement, The Gilead company which produces the virus drugs described the move as a "very usefull and first of its kind" for the treatment of severe covid19. and also added to provide free miilions of needles to the world.
In addition, statement by commissioner of food and drugs administration Stephen Hahn said Remdesivir is the first authorized therapy drug for Covid-19 in the United States.
"This is an important clinical advance that showed a statistically significant reduction in time to recovery for patients with Covid-19 and is the first authorized therapy for Covid-19."
Trump Assistance said the drugs will be giving to various hospital on monday.
The drug, which was initially developed to treat Ebola, has reduced the symptoms from 15 to 11 in a US trial in hospitals around the world.
African countries, including Nigeria, Egypt, Tanzania and South Africa, are also testing new drugs, according to the African CDC.
